Chilin Solutions Adds Direct Optical Bonding to Specialty Display Product Offerings

Addition of optical bonding capability enables clearer, more robust displays for Chilin Solutions OEM and Digital-Out-Of-Home display customers

Tainan, Taiwan and Portland, Oregon  – Chilin Solutions today announced the availability of optical bonding technology for their commercial OEM LCD and DOOH systems product customers. Chilin Solutions will offer Chilin Technology’s optical bonding capability, which utilizes the DuPont Vertak® process and adhesives licensed from DuPont, as a display performance enhancement to new and existing products. Optical bonding enhances display contrast while improving robustness and reliability, particularly for displays in outdoor or public display applications, such as digital signage, as well as touch screens and many other display applications.

Chilin Technology’s commercial LCD display business has been providing optical bonding for over three years to a broad range of commercial LCD monitors and specialty displays for many of the world’s leading brands. Chilin currently delivers bonding capacity of over 100,000 displays per year for display sizes from 7” to 82” diagonal.

Chilin Solutions was launched in January 2011 to provide a wider range of specialty display products and technologies to Chilin’s OEM customers.
